Submit your project to the call for applications ASSITEJ 2024 Circuit.
The call to creators of the ASSITEJ Circuit is open and plural, in no case is it limited to the companies and production companies associated with our entity.
Once registered as users, you will receive a confirmation email and you will be able to register your show.
If you have a user created from previous editions, you can enter your account and edit from your user area the shows presented to previous editions or add new ones and present them.
The presentation of a maximum of 2 shows per company is allowed. Those companies and production companies that present more shows will be discarded.
From the SHOW REGISTRATION section you must fill out the information required for the call.
We recommend that before submitting the application, you carefully read the menu section: “About the Circuit” and the “Selection Process” tab.
Requirements to participate as a company:
- Be a professional entity with legal personality to sign contracts in Spain.
- Have an accredited professional career.
- Attach documentation required in the call.
- Shows that were part of the previous edition cannot be submitted to this call.
IMPORTANT: To rate the show, it is essential to have a link to a complete video of it. Only videos uploaded to an online viewing platform of the full show will be considered. File transfer and download systems are not valid.
*The copyright of the show may not exceed 10%.
Participation in the ASSITEJ Circuit will be valued based on the following criteria:
- The artistic quality of the proposals presented: staging, dramaturgy, etc.
- Taking into account the line of work based on mediation practices, it will be positively valued if the company presents an expanded programming proposal (workshop, colloquium, talk, etc.) to be considered by the performing spaces, or that it expresses its willingness to work in collaboration with the facilities' mediation teams.
- Accessibility and attention to diversity.
The companies selected to participate in the ASSITEJ Circuit will commit to:
- Submit an evaluation at the end of the circuit. The evaluation model will be provided by ASSITEJ.
- Provide the pedagogical and advertising material that is required.
- Contribute to the dissemination of the circuit both on the company's website and social networks.
- Attend meetings and/or meetings in mediation and development of circuit hearings (via zoom).
- Include the ASSITEJ Circuit logo in your graphic material.
- Provide the documentation required during the circuit.
The selection of the companies and performing spaces participating in the Circuit includes 5 phases:
1. Presentation of company applications.
Companies that want to be part of the ASSITEJ Circuit with one of their shows must complete the call form that they will find on our website.
The deadline for submitting proposals ends on November 24 at 11:59 p.m. peninsular time.
2. Selection of shows by an evaluation commission. Creation of a catalog.
During this phase, all shows sent through the platform will be studied by an evaluation commission made up of professionals from the sector external to ASSITEJ Spain. The companies will then be informed if their show has been selected to become part of the 2024 Show Catalog. The resolution of this phase will take place in January 2024.
*Being selected in the catalog will not necessarily imply being programmed, since it will be the performing spaces that will carry out their own programming.
3. Presentation of the nominations for the performing spaces.
The performing spaces that want to opt to be part of the Circuit must complete the form that they will find on our website selecting the shows from the Catalog of shows formulated in the previous phase, so the project submitted to the call must include the programming in it. .
The deadline for submitting proposals will open at the end of January 2024.
4. Selection of scenic spaces.
During this phase, all programming and mediation projects presented by the performing spaces through the platform will be studied by an evaluation commission made up of professionals from the sector. The selection process will last approximately one month.
5. Final resolution and communication of the participants in the Circuiteither ASSITEJ.
Once all the applications have been reviewed, the final resolution of the projects that will become part of the ASSITEJ Circuit and the subsequent communication and closing of the programming together with the selected performing spaces and companies will be carried out. This communication is expected to take place in March of 2024.
The realization of the ASSITEJ CIRCUIT is in any case subject to the granting, by INAEM, of the aid intended for this purpose to ASSITEJ Spain.
